Our decorative candles are designed primarily to enhance your home. To enjoy them safely and fully, here are a few recommendations:
Decoration or fragrance: Some candles are designed solely for decoration. They can be lit, but burning them will shorten their lifespan and alter their aesthetics.
Stable and protected surface: always place your candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts.
Never leave a burning candle unattended: extinguish it before leaving the room or going to sleep.
Keep away from children and pets: hot wax and flame can be dangerous.
Wick maintenance: Before each use, trim the wick to approximately 5 mm to avoid smoke and optimize combustion.
Burn time: Do not let your candle burn for more than 2 to 3 hours at a time to preserve its shape and fragrance.

Instructions for use – Calabougies scented melts
Our scented melts are a simple and effective way to diffuse a pleasant fragrance throughout your home. For optimal and safe use, follow these guidelines:
Use with a fragrance burner: Place a scented melt in the bowl of your fragrance burner, then light a tea light candle underneath (or use an electric fragrance burner).
No wick to light: the melts are not burned directly. The heat melts the wax and releases the fragrance.
Diffusion time: One melt can scent your room for several hours. Change it when it no longer diffuses its scent.
Easy cleanup: Let the wax cool, then remove it from the dish. You can dispose of it in the trash (never down the sink).
Precautions: Always place the incense burner on a stable surface away from children, animals and flammable objects.
Never leave unattended: always extinguish the tea light when you leave the room.
