GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
APPLICATION OF CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions of sale are entered into between, on the one hand, Calabougies (candle creation and sales) - www.calabougies.fr - registered with the Aisne Trade Register, SIRET number 94271949300010, represented by Carine Houesnard, sole proprietor, residing at 8 avenue du Général Patton, 02880 Crouy, and on the other hand, any individual or legal entity wishing to make a purchase on www.calabougies.fr, hereinafter referred to as "the customer". Any purchase implies the customer's unreserved acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale. These terms and conditions may be modified at any time without prior notice. The customer agrees to use only one customer account; duplicate accounts are prohibited and will be deleted without recourse. A multiple account corresponds to the same entity (name/address/billing/shipping).
PRODUCTS
We attach great importance to the origin of the products used to create our candles, seeking as much as possible to work with suppliers and producers based in France.
The candles offered for sale are those appearing on the calabougies.fr website on the day the customer consults the site.
The candles are offered for sale while stocks last.
The candles offered for sale are described and presented as accurately as possible. For further information, customers can contact us for more details.
The photographs illustrating our candles may appear slightly different from reality due to customer screen settings and lighting during photography.
All products offered through Calabougies' sales channels are conceived, created, manufactured and packaged by me.
All creations, photos, videos, and texts on the website https://calabougies.fr, or on other communication media, are the exclusive property of Calabougies and its creator. These are protected under copyright and intellectual property law (articles L335-3 and L335-4 of the French Intellectual Property Code).
PRICE AND ORDERING
The advertised and paid prices are displayed in euros, including VAT, but do not include shipping costs. Prices may be changed at any time without prior notice, but cannot be changed after order confirmation. Placing an order constitutes acceptance of the prices and product descriptions. We reserve the right to remove any product from the shop at any time and/or to replace or modify any content or information appearing on the product description page. While we strive to fulfill all orders you submit, there may be exceptional circumstances in which we are forced to refuse to process or accept an order after we have received and confirmed it to you. In such cases, we cannot be held liable under any circumstances. During the checkout process, you can go back at any time to modify or cancel the information you have entered. When placing your order, please remember to provide a valid email address and phone number to facilitate communication regarding your delivery. Remember to check your spam/junk mail folder.

PAYMENT AND DELIVERY
Payments are made in euros, by bank card.
DELIVERY
You must verify the completeness and accuracy of the information you provide when placing your order, particularly regarding the delivery address. We cannot be held responsible for any input errors and their consequences (such as delays or delivery errors). In such cases, you will be responsible for any costs incurred in reshipping the order.
We reserve the right to choose the carrier and guarantee the proper delivery of the products. However, from the moment of delivery, the risks associated with the delivered goods are transferred to the customer. Delivery will be made Monday through Saturday to the address you provide. If you are not home, a delivery notice will be left in your mailbox. The customer is responsible for checking the condition of the packaging and the conformity of the delivered product, and for noting any issues on the carrier's delivery slip. If this procedure is not followed, we cannot be held liable for any exchanges or refunds.
We reserve the right to refuse to make a delivery or to fulfill an order in the event of non-payment of the order in full or from a customer with whom a payment dispute is being administered.
SHIPPING
Delivery costs start from €4.99 (to a collection point). The average delivery time is 2 to 5 working days (excluding Sundays and public holidays).

RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS
From the date of receipt or collection of their order, the customer has 14 days to return an item. After this period, the delivered candles will be considered compliant and accepted by the customer. We reserve the right to refuse exchanges, credit notes, or refunds. To exercise their right of withdrawal, the customer simply returns the item, indicating that they wish to benefit from the withdrawal period, without any further formalities, to the following address: Carine Houesnard, 8 avenue du Général Patton, 02880 Crouy, France. Refunds of the amounts paid for the order will be processed as quickly as possible and at the latest within 30 days of the withdrawal request, and will be issued via the payment method used for the order. Beyond the 14-day legal withdrawal period, we reserve the right to refuse exchanges, credit notes, or refunds. Candles made to customer specifications or clearly personalized are neither returnable nor exchangeable. Returned candles must be unused and unburned and returned in their original packaging with a copy of the order number or invoice. Please note the reason for the return so we can improve our service. Burned, damaged, soiled, or incomplete candles will not be exchanged or refunded. All returns require our prior authorization. Return shipping is at the customer's expense and risk. We therefore recommend delivery with signature confirmation and package insurance. Candles returned by carrier without adequate protection or with insufficient packaging will be refused. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the protection and insurance of the returned candle(s) during transit. Any exchange or refund will be processed upon receipt of the item.
RETENTION OF TITLE
Pursuant to Law No. 80-335 of May 12, 1980, Calabougies retains ownership of the goods sold until payment is received.
FORCE MAJEURE
In the event of an unforeseen circumstance disrupting the store's operations, the store owner will be released from all obligations. No claim will entitle the owner to any compensation or penalty whatsoever.
RESPONSIBILITY
The photos and text are provided for informational purposes only. Users are responsible for taking all necessary precautions when using the products. Under no circumstances will the store be held liable for any situation whatsoever. The products sold in the store comply with French law.
